What Look Do You Want With Lash Extensions? 

Consider the lash extensions look you desire.  Do you want a dramatic and glamorous look or a more classic look?  The more lashes you have applied, the fuller your look will be. Consider also how curly and long you want your lashes to be. The steeper the slope of the curl, the more dramatic the effect. If you’re unsure what sort of look will suit you just ask your professional lash technician who can advise what type of curl will best suit your eye shape and size.

If you have seen a picture of the sort of eyelash extensions you’re hoping to achieve, don’t hesitate to show it to your eyelash technician as it is usually very helpful! How Long Will It Take To Have Lash Extensions?

1D Wonder Lash eyelash extensions are a great way to instantly achieve fuller, longer looking lashes. The best thing about these lash extensions is that they are almost weightless and are comfortable to wear! These lashes are synthetic which means there’s less chance they will cause an allergic reaction to the delicate skin around your eyes. The application process for these lashes is quicker than typical eyelash extensions, meaning you’ll be good to go in no time!

We also offer Classic Express Lashes which enhance your natural eyelashes making them appear thicker and fuller. These are quick and easy to apply and last up to three days, meaning these lashes are ideal for special occasions!

Please note: A patch test is needed at least 24-48 hours before your first appointment.

How To Keep Your Lash Extensions Looking Their Best

Once your lashes are on this doesn’t mean that the glue has dried yet! For at least 12 hours after getting extensions, try not to sweat (i.e. go to the gym), cry, swim or wash your face. However, once the lashes are properly set you can go about daily life as usual!

Also, your natural lashes grow and fall our on a daily basis, which means so will your lash extensions. So, to keep your lashes looking fabulous and full make sure to book in for regular maintenance sessions. Or, if you want them for a special event, make sure to have them done as close to the event date as possible.

Make-Up & Lash Extensions

With lashes this good you don’t need to wear eye make-up anymore! Semi-permanent lashes are great because you can feel photo-ready from the moment you wake up.  If you’re an eyeliner addict you’re going to find it difficult to apply and remove your eyeliner so it’s usually easier not to bother with eye make-up all together.  However, if you do choose to wear eye make-up be sure to use oil-free pads and wipe downward gently to take your make-up off.

Looking After Your Lash Extensions

Keep your lashes looking fresh and fabulous by brushing them with a clean, disposable mascara wand when you wake up, after you shower, and at the end of the day. This will stop your lashes from becoming tangled.  

Apply diluted baby shampoo to wash your lashes as part of your evening cleansing routine, and avoid vigorous rubbing of the eye area.
