What Happens During Hot Stone Massage?

The Basalt stones are heated in a special oven where they are maintained at a therapeutic level. You will be made comfortable on a massage couch where only the part of the body being massaged will be exposed. Warm oil is massaged into your skin, followed by massage using the hot stones. The heat from the stones and the massage skills of the therapist result in deep penetration into the muscles thus enhancing the therapeutic effects.

Felt very safe covid-wise as all necessary checks made and procedures carried out. The hot stone massage was soooo relaxing - absolute bliss! Felt like I was having warm honey drizzled over my back and then gently massaged. I’ll definitely be going back for another before too long! 🙂

Kevin

"Excellent as ever. Very relaxing. First time I have seen Ki and will definitely recommend her. Another first class massage. Thank you. "

"A relaxing full body hot stone massage, a therapist who still does a massage but uses the stones to enhance the massage. Just what I need on a miserable autumn day. Felt on cloud nine going home, Thank You Ki "

"Another amazing massage from Lindsey yet again. Fell asleep on the massage table it was that relaxing! Really can’t recommend the hot stone massages (and pregnant massages) from Lindsey enough. Will be back again soon! "
